3. Licensing and Usage Rights

When you purchase a beat or service from wav.directory, you are granted a license — not ownership — to use the product according to the terms listed below.

3.1 Beat Licenses

Each beat purchase includes one of the following license types (as described on the product page):

• Basic License – Non-exclusive, allows limited commercial use (e.g., up to a certain number of streams or downloads).
• Premium License – Non-exclusive, broader commercial rights, including monetized streaming, music videos, and distribution.
• Exclusive License – Exclusive rights; the beat is removed from further sale after purchase.

License details (usage limits, royalties, credit requirements, etc.) are clearly stated on the product page and in your license agreement sent via email after purchase.

3.2 Custom Projects

Custom beats, mixing, or mastering services include specific terms outlined in your project agreement or email correspondence. Final files will only be delivered after full payment is received.

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments are securely processed via Lemon Squeezy, which handles checkout, invoicing, and payment security.

4.1 Payments

• Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) or USD, depending on your location.
• Taxes or platform fees may be included at checkout.
• You agree to provide accurate billing information during purchase.

4.2 Refunds

Due to the digital and creative nature of our products, all sales are final. Refunds will only be granted if:

• A duplicate order was accidentally placed; or
• A technical issue prevented file delivery.

• Beat downloads are delivered automatically via Lemon Squeezy after payment.

You may not:

• Upload beats or stems to content identification systems (e.g., YouTube Content ID) unless explicitly allowed by your license.
• Use purchased beats for defamatory, unlawful, or hateful content.

• Respond promptly to communication to avoid project delays.

• Misuse of purchased content beyond licensed rights.

Our total liability will never exceed the purchase amount paid for the specific product or service in question.
